A locally owned convenience store chain with 3 locations in Venango County area – is seeking a full-time Business Manager to oversee the business operations.
Primary responsibilities:
o   Develop and deliver on an annual business plan, with the goal of meeting growth and profitability objectives.
o   Create on-going marketing plans and measure performance of advertising spend and in-store promotions.
o   Manage key supplier relationships, negotiate and ensure compliance to contracts.
o   Review regular reporting generated by Office Assistant to ensure accuracy of sales and banking records.
o   Review and manage cash flow on an on-going basis.
o   Monitor fuel levels to ensure fuel is always available.
o   Stay abreast of fuel rates to ensure the best possible cost advantaged when purchasing.
o   Identify and build business case for re-investment opportunities.
o   Develop and execute compensation and performance measurement plans for all staff.
·        Retail Operations:
o   Provide guidance to store managers, office personnel and maintenance staff on day-to-day needs of the business (i.e., set priorities, ensure work is being completed to high standard)
o   Maintain working knowledge of operations to monitor and provide support to teams as needed.
o   Regularly inspect facilities for operational preparedness, quality of processes, cleanliness, etc.
o   With support from office staff, reconcile inventory levels with sales to identify and prevent shrink.
·        Other Office Work:
o   Examine and sign checks for weekly bills, monthly vendor bills and bi-weekly payroll.
o   Ensure compliance to state regulations on fuel sales and inspections.
o   Address any important office issues brought to your attention by office personnel or by mail/email, communication.

Other necessary qualifications include:
·        Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
·        Prior quantitative and analytical experience in using reports and data to drive decision-making.
·        Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships with corporate officers, store managers, employees and customers.
·        Demonstrated commitment to personal integrity and creating an inclusive, supportive place to work and shop.
·        Must be open to participating in criminal and credit background check prior to hire.
The role offers base salary (commensurate with experience), annual merit bonus based on performance, and access to 401K retirement plan. It also offers the opportunity for equity stake in the business.
